Hello I am Marie. Welcome to my profile.

Perhaps you are struggling with low mood, depression or anxiety. You might feel hopeless, very low or sad. It could be that the effort to keep things going has become increasingly difficult. You might be grieving the loss of a significant person or for hopes for your life. You might be confused or lonely or experiencing panic.

I will listen without judgement to all you share about your current life situation. We will explore areas that could be painful and the effect that it's having on your health and relationships.

Gaining insight into how your life experiences impact you and your relationships is an important foundation before considering how to make change or to move forward. We can explore possibilities that could lead to a more fulfilling and empowered life, emotional well-being and improved relationships.

I am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have worked in therapeutic settings including a charitable counselling service, clients referred through MIND and Macmillan with whom I have supported many patients and family members whose lives have been affected by cancer.

I now offer therapy to adults in a private setting from quiet venues in Formby and Ainsdale. I also offer therapy remotely via online video consultations and telephone counselling.
