About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist & Neuropsychologist with over 20 years of experience. I work with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other third-wave approaches, including Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP).

I have a particular interest in women's mental health, including the psychological impact of perimenopause and menopause, as well as the emotional challenges associated with pregnancy and the postnatal period. I support women who feel overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected from themselves, often in the context of hormonal changes, life transitions, and long-standing patterns of carrying the mental and emotional load for others.

I take a holistic approach to treatment, considering the emotional, biological, social, and cultural factors that influence a person's mental health. My work is tailored to each individual, supporting clients to better understand their experiences, regulate their emotions, and move towards meaningful and sustainable change.

I have lived experience of postnatal depression, anxiety, and panic, which allows me to bring an additional level of understanding, sensitivity, and attunement to my work with clients navigating similar difficulties.

I work with adults across all stages of adulthood, as well as adolescents. I also support parents who feel overwhelmed, helping them navigate the emotional demands of parenting while maintaining their own well-being.

While I have a specialist focus on women's mental health, I work with individuals of all genders and backgrounds, including men and LGBTQ+ clients.

If you are looking for a space where you can feel understood, supported, and gently guided through what you are experiencing, I would be very happy to work with you.

Areas of interest

I offer evidence-based psychological therapy integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). My work includes structured assessment, formulation, and tailored interventions such as emotion regulation, anxiety management, trauma-focused work, and support for adjustment to life transitions and physical health conditions.
