About me

I am an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist, practising since 2000, I have worked in the NHS, Charity and Corporate sectors. I provide evidence-based, tailored psychological interventions to individuals and couples aged 18+ using a variety of therapeutic models. I work collaboratively with you to understand your specific difficulties and then together, we will work towards a solution.

My specialty is helping clients experiencing relationship difficulties, trauma or those managing transitional points, eg childbirth, career change, menopause, health problems, disability, divorce or bereavement.
I'm trained in many models including CBT, ACT, brief systemic and psychodynamic, compassion focused and emotion-focused therapies. It is not a one size fits all approach, but expert driven and adaptable to suit your needs.

It's not easy to reach out for help but I offer you an honest, compassionate approach to help you feel safe in therapy. My style is active and conversational and you will receive feedback throughout.

Areas of interest

I work with adults presenting with low mood, anxiety, stress or trauma symptoms. My special areas of interest are:
* Relationship difficulties with partner/family
* History of childhood abuse or trauma
* Transitional difficulties - e.g. perinatal issues, divorce, bereavement, career problems, menopause.

I do not work with clients presenting with OCD, eating disorders or pain conditions.
