About me

About Me
I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor who has been working since 2005 and I'm fully accredited with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. My private practice is based in my home in North West London near the Royal Free Hospital and I see clients aged 16 and over. Through the working relationship that develops between counsellor and client, we can reflect on your current circumstances and explore the underlying aspects and life experiences in order to create a positive change.
Way of working
In my studies, I concentrated on the psychodynamic approach to counselling. Since then I have moved to a more integrative style, drawing from the different methods of counselling & psychotherapy to meet the individual needs of the clients.
Counselling is usually a difficult process. I won't let you get away with glossing over the awkward or painful bits but my challenges are gentle and well-timed.
A successful piece of work includes helping you to gain the reflection skills that can be useful when facing whatever new challenges life sends your way in the future. That way, old and unhelpful patterns are less likely to be repeated.
