About me

I am a Consultant in Pain Medicine with expertise in the assessment and management of acute and chronic pain conditions in both adults and children. I provides personalised, evidence-based care aimed at improving function, quality of life, and long-term outcomes.
A particular area of interest is post-surgical chronic pain, supporting patients who continue to experience pain beyond the expected healing period following procedures such as orthopaedic, thoracic, breast, abdominal, or spinal surgery.I offer comprehensive assessment, early identification of neuropathic pain components, and tailored multidisciplinary treatment plans.
I also have experience in paediatric pain management, recognising the distinct physiological and psychological aspects of pain in infants, children, and adolescents. Care is delivered in a compassionate, age-appropriate manner, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support.
Treatment approaches may include medication optimisation, ultrasound-guided injections, interventional pain procedures, neuromodulation techniques, and collaboration with physiotherapy and psychological services where appropriate.
