About me

I am a Chartered and Registered Forensic Psychologist, registered as a practitioner psychologist with the HCPC.

I am trained and able to facilitate a number of therapeutic approaches that are intended to address current distress and difficulties in daily functioning. These include;

DBT (Dialectic Behaviour Therapy) - Accredited Therapist

ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy) - Accredited Therapist

EMDR is a well recognise and evidenced treatment to address symptoms of trauma and PTSD, and a recommended treatment by NICE.

DBT and ACT are treatment modalities that are designed to support individuals to cope with stressful or upsetting situations. They also aim to help individuals tolerate and recognise the impact of distressing events, including those which the individual cannot change (and cause long term distress), which can help to reduce the distress they experience.
