About me

As a BACP Accredited Integrative Counsellor, I use elements from different counselling and psychotherapy strategies tailored to your individual needs.

Using elements from these different approaches means that we will look at how you are living your life now � what works and what doesn�t, but also explore the past and find out where all those unhelpful thoughts, beliefs and behaviours stem from.

I will always explore with you how successfully you are able to ground yourself and together we will look at self-care strategies. For example, you may be suffering from anxiety, depression or sleeping difficulties, and so our work would be proactive and solution focused, often involving new thinking and behaviours that are more helpful.

I hope that my support as a warm, respectful, non-judgemental counsellor/psychotherapist will bring increased self-awareness and confidence that empower you to make changes which bring your life closer to how you want it to be.

I previously led a bereavement support service where I was a supervisor and ran bereavement training courses.

I have many years experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum (in a teaching setting). I understand the social, emotional and practical challenges faced when living with ASD.
