About me

I have over twenty years experience within adult mental health services, specialist eating disorder inpatient and community services and a mix of both NHS and independent sector organisations.
I have experience in service development, individual and group work, MDT work, teaching, training, supervision and consultation alongside specialist individual and family work. My work is integrative and trauma-informed. I am committed to recognising the strength of diversity and changing the way we view, treat and respond to mental illness.

Areas of interest

Eating disorders; relationship issues including recovery from narcissistic abuse; self esteem and confidence issues; addiction; trauma; complex family issues; obsessive compulsive difficulties; perfectionism.
I have recently undertaken additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) levels 1 and 2, including IFS for addictive processes and eating based difficulties.
I have lots of experience working integratively, offering bespoke treatment options for complex cases.
