Marc is a Consultant Colorectal & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgeon at King's College Hospital in London and the visionary Founder and Director of The Bowel Clinic. He has dedicated his career to preventing, treating, and curing problems related to the bowels, pelvic floor and their function.
He is a specialist with over 25 years of expertise in treating abdominal and pelvic pain, bloating, constipation (difficulties emptying the bowel), bowel leakage (incontinence) and bleeding from the back passage with the knowledge and experience to tackle even the most complex cases.
He is highly qualified and a leading expert in his field. He received his degree in Medicine from King's College and set out on his journey to better understand how the bowel and pelvic floor work and how and why things go wrong with extensive training in gynaecology, urology and colorectal surgery in London and Sydney. He then spent 15 years working as a Consultant in Australia and has now returned to London.
Marc is recognised as an international expert for his pioneering research to better understand and treat these conditions that he has published in leading medical journals. He is also a passionate educator and is known for the award-winning textbooks he has written and the resources that he has delivered to colleagues and sufferers.
But to his patients, he is simply known as �The Bowel Doctor"
