Mr. Brown is a highly skilled specialist knee surgeon renowned for his expertise in both sports injuries and degenerative conditions of the knee. After completing his surgical training in the West of Scotland, he pursued prestigious fellowship training programs in Perth and Melbourne, Australia, at OrthoSport Victoria.
In his practice at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital within the NHS, Mr. Brown offers a comprehensive range of knee surgery services, catering to the diverse needs of his patients. He is committed to a patient-centred approach to care, prioritising shared decision-making on surgical treatments to ensure the best possible outcomes.
At both Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital and Elanic Hospital Glasgow, Mr. Brown specialises in various treatments, including partial and total knee replacement surgery, ACL reconstruction, arthroplasty, osteotomy, and unicompartmental knee surgery (UKR). He is also experienced in MAKO robotic-arm assisted surgery for partial and full knee replacement procedures.
Mr. Brown's special interests lie in arthroscopic soft tissue reconstruction of the knee, addressing issues such as meniscal injuries and ligament injuries. He is also skilled in joint replacement and partial joint replacement techniques, as well as joint preservation methods, including osteotomy.
