About me
Dr Beatrice Seddon is consultant with 20 years of experience in treating bone and soft tissue sarcomas. She has worked on the Sarcoma Unit at University College Hospital until 2022, and treats patients with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, including proton beam therapy (available to private patients via Proton International London).
Dr Seddon trained in treating sarcomas at the Royal Marsden and Middlesex Hospitals in London, and specialises exclusively in the treatment of soft tissue and bone sarcomas with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
She completed her PhD at the Institute of Cancer Research in imaging of tumour hypoxia. She has a strong interest in clinical trials in sarcoma, and has acted as principal and chief investigator for a number of national and international trials in sarcoma chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She has been actively involved in coordinating sarcoma research at a national level as a member of the NCRN Sarcoma Clinical Studies Group, the NCRI Clinical and Translational Radiotherapy Research Working Group (CTRad), and as a member of the EORTC Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma Group.
