Miss Hersha Patel is a Consultant Gynaecologist with sub specialisation in Gynaecological Oncology.

Miss Patel qualified from University of Leicester in 2006 and went on to complete her postgraduate training in general obstetrics and gynaecology in the East Midlands. She has completed a sub-speciality fellowship on gynaecological oncology. She is experienced in performing advanced open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery both for benign and malignant gynaecological pathologies. She is also a BSCCP-certified colposcopist and offer outpatient based procedures such as hysteroscopy, vulvoscopy and biopsies.

Miss Patel has a strong academic background, having completed her PhD in optimising uptake of cervical cancer prevention strategies in high-risk groups. She has multiple peer-reviewed publications and continues to actively participate in research.
