About me

I'm an experienced counsellor which respects the individual needs and rights of my clients. I have a caring and warm nature, and I�m here to listen, to help you explore and understand any of your issues. I have over 20 years working with people in a variety of settings and roles.

How I can help

Sometimes we can feel lost, out of kilter, confused, stressed or consumed with grief. I offer a safe therapeutic space in which to work with you to process and understand things you may find difficult to face alone. I believe that self-awareness is the foundation of positive growth towards psychological wellbeing. Throughout my training I have developed my own self awareness which has deepened my understanding of self. I know how emotional pain feels for me, but I don't assume I know how your emotional distress and pain feels for you. By listening to you I endeavour to understand your world from your perspective, empowering you to a self exploration and understanding, which in turn can untangle emotions. I believe that everyone has the ability to make their own choices and decisions and act upon them accordingly, I will be along side you to facilitate the process.
