About me

I am a Principle Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) since 2020. I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East Anglia and have an MSc in Research in Clinical Psychology. I have experience working across several NHS services including Adult, Perinatal and Older Adult Community Mental Health teams and working with children and adolescents in the Psychological Medicines Service at Addenbrookes hospital. Alongside my private practice, I work for the NHS developing the new Maternal Mental Health Service supporting women, birthing people and their families who have experienced infant loss.

In my clinical practice I draw upon a range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Systemic approaches. I support adults, children and families with a range emotional difficulties and mental health disorders including generalised anxiety, health anxiety, social phobia, OCD, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and loss and bereavement.

As a clinician, I believe in the value of adopting a person-centred approach to ensure that those I work with receive the right support for them. I work collaboratively with individuals to support them to explore and make sense of their emotional distress in a safe and supportive environment, helping them to set achievable goals and reach their desired outcome.
