About me

I am a substantive Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic surgeon based at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. UHL is one of the largest and busiest NHS Trusts in the country.

I received my medical degree from the University of Oxford and have since completed my surgical training across the Oxford, London, and Midlands training regions.

I am fellowship trained, having completed a post-CCT 'Senior Clinical Hand Fellow' post at the internationally renowned Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby. I have also undertaken a competitively awarded 'British Orthopaedic Association Travelling Fellowship' to Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore, India - one of the world's leading Ortho-Plastic surgical centres.

I am one of only a select few Hand & Wrist surgeons in the UK that is dual certified with both, the British and European Diplomas in Hand Surgery.

I am an approved tutor for the British Hand Diploma and also sit on the Communications Committee of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).
