About me

I am a HCPC Registered Psychologist, working with individuals 18 years plus. I am also an Associate Fellow with the British Psychological Society and an Accredited EMDR Practitioner. I originally trained and qualified as a Forensic Psychologist working in prisons in the UK to deliver individual therapy and group programmes, psychological assessments and much more. In 2013 I took the opportunity to start my career in private practice and have not looked back.

My specialism is PTSD and I used EMDR or trauma-focused CBT to address these difficulties. I also work with complex / developmental trauma, different types of anxiety such as OCD, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Generalised Anxiety, Travel Anxiety and Phobias. In addition, I provide support to individuals with depression, work-related stress, sleep difficulties and low self-esteem.

I am driven and hardworking, keen to facilitate change with my clients. We work together within a confidential and supportive setting, to explore what you want, to understand what might be holding you back or keeping you stuck and to find a way forward. In order to offer the highest standards for my clients I have regular supervision. Furthermore, I attend regular activities to continue my professional development and keep me in line with developments in the field.
