About me
My name is Clare and I am a fully qualified and BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (140591).
I have over fifteen years' experience of working within both private and NHS mental health services. This has included working with adults and adolescents with a range of difficulties, in both primary and secondary care mental health settings.
I offer therapy to adults from my clinic room at Maidstone Studios. I am also able to deliver sessions online or via telephone.
My main specialties are in the treatment of depression and anxiety disorders (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Specific Phobias). I am also experienced in delivering support to those who are experiencing relationship difficulties and stress.
My approach to therapy is to provide a safe and non-judgemental space in order to deliver collaborative and goal directed treatment. I have a warm, yet practical and down-to-earth approach to therapy, which is centered on developing a strong therapeutic relationship.
I abide by the professional and ethical standards laid down by the BABCP and I have full professional indemnity and current DBS clearance.
