About me

I am Elisabeta, a counsellor/psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
I have diverse and extensive experience working with people with a wide range of issues related to physical health conditions, withdrawal from activities or friends, low energy or problems sleeping, ability to concentrate, mood changes, sex drive, excessive anger or feeling sad and down.
I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share your thoughts, experiences and problems. I am passionate about therapeutic interventions that can range from deep exploratory psychological interventions based on the client's history and memories to short therapies focused on solutions to reduce psychological distress and promote the well-being of individuals.
In addition to talking therapy, I offer several other techniques involving drawing and metaphor. Metaphors help people express their experiences symbolically. Through metaphor, clients can imaginatively compare two unlike things, allowing them to frame possible solutions to the problems they are facing in their lives.
