About me

I am a fellowship-trained knee and hip surgeon, currently serving as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at University Hospitals of Leicester. After completing my initial training in India, I relocated to the UK in 2003, where I had the privilege of working and training under esteemed surgeons. With over 20 years of experience in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice.My primary interest lies in knee and hip surgery, with a subspecialty focus on partial knee replacement, knee replacement, complex knee replacement, revision knee replacements, hip replacement, keyhole knee procedures, meniscal repairs, and cruciate reconstructions. I believe in innovation and advancing patient care through cutting-edge techniques, always striving to provide the best care for my patients.

I am actively involved in research, contributing to the field of orthopaedic surgery through various publications and presentations. As an educator, I take great pride in training future surgeons and serving as faculty at numerous national and international meetings.

With a deep-rooted commitment to excellence, I am dedicated to leveraging my extensive experience, evidence-based approach, and innovative mindset to improve the lives of individuals suffering from knee and hip-related conditions, helping them regain optimal function and mobility.
