About me

We all feel down or anxious from time to time in our lives, but when our difficult times cast longer shadows then getting some support is a very brave and good thing that you can do.

I offer Online and face to face CBT Therapy on the Wirral. The therapy I offer is where Excellent Practice and Genuine Care combine.

I am highly experienced in treating Depression & Low self-esteem, but as an Anxiety Specialist, I have expertise in treating Anxiety & Panic Attacks, Worry, OCD, PTSD, Phobia's, Social Anxiety & Health Anxiety.

I am a highly regarded and experienced CBT Therapist Accredited with the British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapies (BABCP). I strongly believe in the importance of teaching you to become your own therapist: to develop self-compassion, understand the concepts of CBT, and problem-solve obstacles, to give lasting benefit of your treatment

I know that reaching out can be daunting. I founded Get CBT because I care. I offer a free no obligation 15min consultation to learn about you and enable you to ask me questions so that, if you do decide to continue, we can hit the ground running. If i am not the best therapist for you, I will always try and signpost you to another service or therapist.

If you want more information about my background then please visit my website or check out my LinkedIn profile. In brief, I have been a qualified CBT Therapist since 2015 although I have worked as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner since 2011. I have worked as a CBT Therapist in the NHS Since then and in the last 2 years, as a Clinical Lead. I supervise other CBT Therapists and also teach CBT to Training Clinical Psychologists at the University of Liverpool.
