About me

Dr Kaur has over 15 years experience working across a range of settings (including the NHS, charity, education sector, and private practice), treating adults with common mental health difficulties, such as depression and anxiety disorders.

Her specialist area of expertise is in the assessment and treatment of trauma, PTSD and complex PTSD. She has extensive experience of working with clients who have experienced trauma arising from accidents, assaults, abuse, birth and medical procedures, international conflicts and military contexts.

Dr Kaur is trained in a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Kaur is a Lecturer at the University of Surrey, where she trains mental health practitioners in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches.

Dr Kaur offers a warm, compassionate and holistic approach to supporting people with their mental health. She strives to work with each person as a unique individual.
