About me

I offer one-to-one psychotherapy and CBT approach (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to adults aged 18 and upwards.
I offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment, where you will be able to express yourself freely and address the issues you are experiencing.

I am a fully accredited CBT clinician(BABCP) and psychotherapist(BACP).I have 12 years post qualification experience, working for the NHS and privately. I also have a wealth of mental health experience working in other sectors , as well as training in holistic and complementary disciplines such as yoga and therapeutic body work.
I am particularly accomplished and knowledgeable in self -development/ low self esteem, anxiety, ADHD and relationship problems. I have extensive experience in multicultural and the LGBT communities.

Our first session will include an assessment of your problems and we will work together to create a treatment plan that works towards goals and recovery.

Further sessions will last 50-60 minutes and are usually scheduled for once a week, in the first instance, depending on your circumstances and affordability.

As a CBT/ psychological clinician I continue to develop within humanistic values. These focus on both respect for the individual and their unique experiences. I aim to build the clients potential, empowering them, by respecting them as experts in their own life and my role in their development and positive changes, values and ethics.

I follow the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions as well as the standards set out by BABCP.
This sets out the expected ethical principles, values and good practice standards to be followed by BACP members in their work with clients.
