Dr. Al-Shakarchi graduated in Medicine from the University of Wales in 2004, after earning a BSc in Physiology from University College London. She later completed a Master's in Rheumatology with distinction at King's College London, receiving awards for her outstanding research.

Her extensive training in renowned London hospitals�King's College, Guy's and St. Thomas', and St. George's�has equipped her with expertise in managing conditions such as inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, osteoporosis, and soft tissue disorders. She is skilled in joint injections and has led an injection clinic at Kingston Hospital for several years.

Dr. Al-Shakarchi is actively involved in research and medical education, with multiple publications, conference presentations, and a book chapter to her name. As a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, she has received numerous teaching excellence awards and served as a Training Programme Director for Internal Medicine.
