About me
I trained at UCH. I completed my trainiing in Urology at The Institute of Urology in London. I was very fortunate to have been mentored by the world renowned urologists there.
I completed my training in reconstructive and female urology in London and Belgrade's world renowned centre.
I trained in laparoscopic surgery in Strasbourgh and Bordeaux when it was just starting in the UK.
I was mentored by the leading European laparoscopic Surgeons both in Strasbourgh and Bordeaux.
My main passion has been my charitable work in the developing world treating patients with vesico vaginal fistulae , following obstructed labour and also training local surgeons.
I run surgical camps overseas every year.
With the help of WHO I have set up a fistula Hospital in Nepal.
I have published in this field inpeer reviewed journals
I am married with two children.
My son has followed us both in the field of medicine and is working at Guy's Hospital London. He hopes to carry on my charitable work overseas in the field of cleft lip and palate surgery.
I enjoy running and a game of squash to unwind.
I live in Harpenden.
