About me

Welcome to my profile,
Greetings and thank you for visiting my page.
I'm Sarah, a dedicated Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and I extend a warm welcome to you.

Taking the step to connect with a therapist may feel intimidating, yet it stands as one of the most profound ways to prioritise your well-being and provide essential support for your family. If you find it challenging to acknowledge that you're going through a tough time, you're not alone. Often, the reflex response of claiming to be "fine" masks the deeper feelings you may be experiencing. Recognizing and admitting to yourself about this emotional mask is the initial courageous step toward seeking support.

My specialisation lies in postnatal depression, perinatalmental health and a range of anxiety disorders, including health anxiety, social Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

My personal journey, combined with my professional expertise, have uniquely positioned me to empathise and connect meaningfully with my clients and the challenges they face.
Specialising in these areas, I bring a wealth of firsthand understanding and professional expertise to my practice.

Whether it's navigating the complexities of postpartum experiences, new parenting challenges, or healing from trauma, various anxiety disorders and depression. I am here to support you every step of the way.

Embarking on the journey of self-discovery requires tremendous courage. With over 10 years of experience in the field, my commitment is to walk alongside you as you navigate the complexities of your emotions, thoughts, and feelings within the safe and nurturing environment of the therapy room.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a highly active, dynamic, and practical process, will be our tool for transformation. Together, we'll create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. Delving into the underlying, often hidden memories and behaviour patterns, we'll unravel their impact on your life. I'll equip you with tools and techniques designed to shift 'vicious cycles' into empowering 'coping cycles.'
Together, we'll document thoughts, express through drawings, and explore specific tool instructions, ensuring that your learnings become ingrained for life. A comprehensive plan will capture what works best for you, offering a reference whenever you need it.
Compassion is not just a principle in my work but a fundamental aspect of my daily practice. I believe in fostering a compassionate therapeutic relationship as a cornerstone of effective healing.
Your well-being is my priority, and I'm committed to guiding you towards positive change and growth. Reach out today to schedule a consultation, and let's embark on this journey together.
