About me
Dr Rasa is a Clinical Psychologist registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) which is a professional regulatory body aimed to ensure that you will get safe and effective care. She holds a professional interest in working with people who have experienced traumatic life events or who grew up within difficult family dynamics.
Clients who come to see her usually describe issues with low mood or depression, anxiety and related disorders such as OCD, insomnia, post-traumatic stress and PTSD, relationship difficulties, acute imposter syndrome or extreme burnout. They often talk of feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stressed, lonely and isolated, and may experience shame or feel unsatisfied with who they are or where they are in life. In most cases, their difficulties stem from past experiences of trauma, abuse, discrimination, or emotional absence of parental figures.
Dr Rasa also works with women who are high achievers but nevertheless struggle with poor self-esteem, low mood and anxiety.
