About me

I am a HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered Clinical Psychologist with experience of working with individuals with a variety of presentations including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma-related stress, adjustment to physical health issues and challenging life events, perinatal mental health, neurodiversity, self-criticism and feelings of low self-esteem. I have worked in different physical and mental health settings within the NHS for over 9 years and continue to work within the NHS alongside my private practice.

I place great importance on developing secure therapeutic relationships through which I hope my clients can feel safe to engage with therapy without feeling they will be judged or misunderstood.

Working together to formulate an understanding of what's going on for you, and thinking about the reasons why, is an important step that allows us to consider how therapy could help you going forward. I draw upon evidence based models including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy to tailor a person-centred therapeutic approach to meet your needs.

Collaboration is always at the heart of my work, striving to empower individuals to feel able to make sense of their difficulties, equipped with the necessary skills to navigate their journey through a meaningful and fulfilling life.
