About me
Dr Lutfiye Agolli is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Counselling Psychologist and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
She has experience working both in the NHS and in private practice and works with a range of psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship and family issues and work-related stress.
Lutfiye works with individuals, couples and families and can provide short term and long-term psychological therapy. She has an interest in body image and appearance and offers pre-surgical assessment to individuals undergoing surgery.
Her ethos is to facilitate an empathic and collaborative therapeutic space in which interventions are tailored to each individual's needs and her clinical approach is informed by various modalities including: Compassion Focussed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
Lutfiye is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and works as a Lecturer, Personal Tutor and Research Supervisor at City, University of London and as an External Examiner at the University of Lincoln. She is also a published writer and researcher.
