About me

Currently accepting new clients

Experience:
I have worked in diverse adult NHS primary care settings for over 6 years, delivering evidence-based interventions to individuals and groups. I aim to tailor therapy to meet the needs of each person, working collaboratively to understand their challenges from their own perspectives.

I have completed training in CBT for long-term health conditions and I am a trained supervisor for both low and high-intensity CBT practitioners. I am committed to providing high-quality care infused with compassion to support you in overcoming your difficulties, and reach your goals at your pace.

As a therapist, my approach is naturally influenced by my passions, both personally and professionally. I have worked with universities in tutoring and mentoring the next generation of therapists, and strongly value passing down knowledge to those completing their training. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of people's development, and apply this to my therapeutic work too.

I also have a keen interest in exercise and lifestyle; having undertaken a Sport Psychology Masters, I have developed a knowledge base on the impact of wellbeing on performance, which can apply to many other areas of life. A big pillar to our health is made up of several lifestyle factors (e.g. exercise, diet and sleep), and incorporating this into the work I do has been incredibly beneficial to enhancing clients' wellbeing.

I can offer a no pressure, 10-15 minute initial consultation (no cost), whereby we can discuss what areas you would like support with and determine whether we are the right fit. If I identify that an alternative approach is better suited to your current needs, I will offer recommendations on where to find such support and guide you accordingly. If you would like to discuss this further and book a consultation, please feel free to contact me with your availability, and I will aim to respond within 48 hours.
