About me

I am passionate about helping people to improve their wellbeing and overcome challenges in their life. In one-to-one therapy, I ensure that sessions are collaborative and focused on clients' goals for therapy.

As a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, I provide evidence-based treatments for clients with various physical and mental health conditions. I have a special interest in post-traumatic stress disorder and chronic pain. I have over 15 years of clinical experience across a number of hospital and community settings within both the NHS and private sectors.

I am also a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton, where I am an active researcher and postgraduate research supervisor. I teach on the clinical doctorate programme and have coordinated a number of postgraduate teaching modules.

I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of health and clinical psychology through teaching, research, and clinical practice.

I have skills and training in a number of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, EMDR, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
