About me

I have been working as a private therapist since 2012. Alongside my private practice I also work for the NHS as a pain psychologist. I receive both self-referrals and referrals from other professionals such as EAP's (Employee Assistance Programmes), the PFOA (Police Firearms Officers Association) and rehabilitation case workers.

I am qualified in a number of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy and health psychology. This allows me to apply the most appropriate techniques to support clients.

I work with clients in a range of areas including anxiety, past-trauma, depression, stress and relationships. As a health psychologist I also support clients with the psychological and emotional aspects of health and illness, including self-management of long-term health conditions and coping with chronic pain.

I also have over 15 years' experience working in the field of substance addiction, during which I have developed, delivered and managed both one-to-one and group interventions.
