About me
Paul Salvage is a UKCP-registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and qualified supervisor based in Hove, Brighton. He holds an MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the University of Brighton, a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, and an earlier training in Integrative Counselling with a Mindfulness-based approach. He has undertaken further intensive psychoanalytic training, enabling him to work at greater depth with both adults and adolescents.
Paul has extensive clinical experience across a range of professional settings, including the Youth Offending Service, Brighton Council's supported accommodation for young people aged 16�25, Sure Start Children's Centres, Sussex University, and private practice. He has been in private practice since 2012 and is a founding member of the Brighton Psychotherapy and Counselling Collective.
His areas of specialism include anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, relationship difficulties, identity, and personality disorders. Paul also has a particular interest in neurodiversity, sexuality, and class and intersectionality. He works with adults and adolescents, offering both short and long-term psychotherapy in person from his consulting room in Hove, and online.
