About me
Dr Fatima Awdeh graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from Lebanese University in 2011. She completed medical training and acquired membership to the Royal College of Physicians UK in 2016. Following completion of training in Dermatology, she was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist in 2020.
Her NHS base is at Boomfield Hospital and she is actively involved in teaching and training of doctors and nurses in Dermatology.
Dr Awdeh has a broad range of interests including rashes , moles , skin lesions , skin cancer , skin surgery, vulval
dermatology and Paediatric dermatology. She undertakes weekly skin cancer clinic , general dermatology clinic, paediatric dermatology clinic, surgical list and an active member in the melanoma multidisciplinary team meeting.
She works closely with the plastic surgery team in the internationally renowned St Andrews Centre for Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.
Her commitment to advancing in the field is shown through contributions to medical journals with multiple
publications in leading peer-reviewed Dermatology journals. Dr Awdeh has also worked as investigator in many clinical trials in the prestigious Charles center / St Vincent University Hospital/ Ireland. Further to this, she has delivered lectures to the medical students at the Anglia Ruskin University/ England and has presented at national and international dermatology conferences.
Dr Awdeh is dedicated to provide compassionate , patient-centered care. My practice covers range of services, from the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and managing wide varieties of inflammatory skin conditions. She is committed to deliver safe and effective treatments with clinically rewarding results.
