About me

My name is Nicola and I am a mental health counsellor working with Adults and Children from the age of 8 years old. I have been working in mental health for the past 10 years and been offering Counselling for six years for local charities and in my own counselling practice. I have experience in working with people on the autistic spectrum.

I have been told that I am welcoming and passionate about supporting my clients. I provide a supportive, non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

I believe in a client-centred approach, where I work with a combination of approaches to support you to understand and to work through your thoughts, feelings and experiences. I offer Person-centred and informed CBT.

I have experience of supporting individuals with a Cancer diagnosis and long-term health conditions, Anxiety, Panic attacks, bereavement,
, illness self/others, Low-self-esteem, bereavement, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Domestic Abuse, Sexual, Emotional and Physical Abuse. work related difficulties, menopause.
