About me

I work as a counsellor mainly out of my heart's passion and need, and because helping others give me a sense of satisfaction and fulfilment. I am here to help you understand your own emotional states and have satisfying relationships, also with yourself. I trust that by understanding more about mechanisms of your behaviour will allow you to make a change in your life.
The aim of my work is to support you in difficult moments of your life.
In therapy, you are my partner. I make every effort to ensure that sessions with me take place in an atmosphere of respect, honesty, openness, tolerance and security.
I am happy to help you solve your problems or identify difficulties that you face. In my work, I focus on an individual approach and atmosphere of confidentiality.
In my work building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, sense of security and respect is very important. I believe that every human being, have the ability to self-regulate mentally and physically and counselling is one of the ways that help to gain this ability back.
What I consider important in my work is: following what you bring to the therapeutic process, your resources and possibilities, believing that change is possible, talking about solutions creates solutions.
I offer professional counselling help for everyone who feel the need to contact a due to their life situation (their own or their relatives).
I have gained my professional experience, among others, working with Relate - The Relationship People (Relate offers counselling services for every type of relationship nationwide), Cruse Bereavement Care (Cruse offers support, advice and information to people who experience complicated bereavement), working in my private practice, working with organisations in Scunthorpe, Doncaster, York and working with the University Campus North Lincolnshire in Scunthorpe in Higher Education section.
For many years I was a volunteer in therapeutic organisations.
I regularly expand my knowledge and experience by participating in numerous specialist trainings, courses and workshops. By constantly improving my qualifications, I provide valuable services.
At work, I follow the principles of the hypnotherapist's code of ethics and follow the code of ethics of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (which I am a member).
I subject my work to regular supervision by certified supervisor.
