About me
Ms Nayar currently holds a substantive post as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at St Helens & Knowsley NHS Trust. Ms Nayar is on the GMC specialist register for Plastic Surgery.
Ms Nayar carries out a wide range of skin surgery including for benign conditions and skin cancers and her main subspecialty area of interest is Mohs skin cancer excision and reconstruction.
Ms Nayar has many patient compliments and will frequently provide a second opinion for patients who have complex needs.
Ms Nayar performs many facial and other reconstructive procedures and has undergone extensive training. Ns Nayar qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2004 with honours and her training has taken place in Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham.
In addition to her plastic surgery training she has completed a recognised cosmetic surgery fellowship program plus a further fellowship in specialised hand surgery as well as a research qualification in skin cancer studies.
Ms Nayar is a well respected surgeon among her peers having published widely and presented at a national and international level.
She is active in teaching and training her junior surgeons being the trust speciality training lead and the Mohs fellowship representative for BAPRAS, the national plastic surgery association. She is due to take over the position of national chair of TIG Mohs training in January 2024.
