About me
Mr Tsavellas was born and educated in London. After qualifying from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1990, he undertook surgical training at University College and Middlesex Hospitals in central London and subsequently on the Wessex rotation, in the South of England. He spent several years working in regional specialist units and was awarded the highly coveted degree of Master of Surgery (MS) from the University of London for research into colorectal cancer undertaken at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London.
Mr Tsavellas gained the specialist Intercollegiate Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Gen Surg) in Feb 2003, and holds the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST). He was appointed as a substantive Consultant General & GI Surgeon at the East Kent Hospitals Trust in Jan 2004.
