About me
I am a counselling psychologist based in Hove, Sussex, and I work at two local clinics as well as offering online video sessions.
My background is integrative, meaning that I can tailor a therapeutic approach to the needs of my clients. In addition to my training in person-centred therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), I have extensive experience in using eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) to treat PTSD and other conditions, as well as drawing from schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
Presenting difficulties I work with include anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD (single event trauma or complex-PTSD), and difficulties adjusting to changed life circumstances following an accident or illness.
