About me

Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed and lost? Do you feel you are not good enough, that things are just too much right now and you are exhausted from thinking and feeling all the time. Maybe you feel like all you do are things for others and have lost who you are, or that you are having to put a mask on to get through each day, or maybe you are struggling with a loss that just feels so enormous.

I provide a calm, secure space where you can;

- Learn effective strategies to cope with and process anxiety and trauma so you can feel more relaxed and less anxious.
- Navigate your past experiences and discover how to carry it forward in a way that feels right for you.
- Gain clarity through discussions and exploration.
- Identify and then change any thoughts or behaviours that are holding you back from the life you want to live.
- Discover and develop new ways to handle challenging situations, feelings, and emotions.
- Work on improving your confidence and self-esteem.

We will achieve this together by discussing your life and the experiences that have brought you here, and then finding personalised strategies to help you reach your future goals.

I am an trauma informed, Accredited Counsellor, EMDR Therapist and NLP Master Practitioner, with specific experience working with individuals who are neurodivergent, and ADHD offering individual counselling alongside EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and Life Coaching, to ensure you get the best, most appropriate support to empower you to achieve your goals.

I have extensive experience supporting people with anxiety, low self-esteem, those who have been bereaved, particularly in traumatic circumstances such as through suicide and those who are neurodivergent.

Finding the right therapist can be challenging, and research has shown that establishing a connection is crucial for effective support. I invite you to reach out for an informal chat where you can ask any questions and get a sense of our potential working relationship. Let's ensure you feel comfortable and confident in choosing me to support you during this difficult time in your life.

I am based in Adlington close to Chorley and Horwich.
