Dr Morvwen has been working in the mental health field since 2015, and has been trained in working with individuals across the life span presenting with a range of mental health disorders. This includes working with adults with depression, anxiety and relational difficulties, as well as specialist adult training in neuropsychology and substance misuse.

Morvwen has further specialist training in working with children and young people of all ages, including children with complex needs due to neurodevelopmental co-morbidities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and learning/intellectual disabilities. She has extensive experience working with people with diagnoses of tic disorder and Tourette Syndrome, providing behavioural interventions (Exposure and Response Prevention and Habit Reversal Training).

In addition, she has extensive experience working with young people with adverse early life experiences, often relating to abuse and neglect.

As a therapist, she takes an open, compassionate and collaborative approach to work towards individualised goals. Her therapeutic work utilises a number of tailored approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and includes systemic and parenting approaches.
