About me

I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Counsellor and a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist experienced in working with a wide range of issues such as trauma, psycho-oncology, chronic and life threatening health conditions, and sexual health.
I have provided counselling and psychotherapy in a variety of social and mental health settings including the UCL Student Psychological Services, the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust - at the IPTT Lambeth secondary care specialist personality disorders service-, and Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where for a number of years and until August 2022 I was employed offering specialist Counselling to Oncology patients and their carers, and where I supervised groups of nursing staff.

I offer psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, cancer and chronic health conditions as well as relationship and life issues. Please also check my website www.federicadeangelistherapy.com for more details on my work and experience.

I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck College University of London, which I obtained before attending further trainings at the Tavistock Relationships and at the Anna Freud Centre in London.
