About me

Sometimes we find ourselves stuck and unsure of how to move forward. This could be due to a big life change, loss, relationship issues, parenting issues, anxiety, depression or making an important decision (to name a few). Maybe you don't know why you feel stuck or unhappy and you feel that you should be!

You've taken the first step by reaching out for help. I realise that counselling can feel daunting and overwhelming. I can offer you a safe, confidential space to explore any obstacle that you are struggling with, without judgment. Sometimes we need someone to just listen.

I can help you untangle what is going on for you, empower you to set boundaries, find your own voice within a relationship, and find what is important to you.

Areas of interest

I feel passionate about helping clients explore ADHD diagnoses, either for themselves or their loved ones. I had a late diagnosis of ADHD; I figured this out through my daughter's late diagnosis. I feel that support throughout initial thoughts, diagnosis, and support after diagnosis is important. It helps to untangle feelings of not being good enough, feeling different, forgetfulness, trouble focusing, and not being able to switch off to name a few. All these things can impact self-esteem and lead to anxiety and depression. It can feel like you have been let down by caregivers and schools. Finding acceptance and being able to embrace who you are is empowering and can hopefully be the start of a healing process that will allow you to let go of messages that you have been told and understand yourself better.
