About me

Dr Steven Whatmough completed his specialist training in Sport and Exercise Medicine in Leeds. Throughout his career, Dr Whatmough has worked in a variety of elite sport and NHS settings. Dr Whatmough is currently the lead Academy Doctor at Burnley FC, he is a consultant with the European Tour and holds various private MSK clinics throughout England. Dr Whatmough has previously worked with the FA and within professional cycling.

Dr Whatmough has completed both his Sports Medicine Masters (University College London) and Ultrasound PGCert (University of East London).

Dr Whatmough has also completed his General Practice training and his specialist medical exams.

Outside of work Dr Whatmough enjoys cycling and working out at the gym.
