About me

Miss Mehra has been working as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist since 2021 in University Hospital Lewisham, with over 20 years of experience. She graduated from India in 2004 and has had significant O&G training experience from India, where she obtained her post graduate qualification of Master of Surgery (MS) and then in UK, where she was awarded Membership by Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2015.

She completed her advanced accredited training in early pregnancy ultrasound scanning and management of acute gynaecology from Kings College London. She is currently running consultant led specialist clinics including early pregnancy, fertility investigations including tubal patency clinics (Hycosy), one stop diagnostic gynaecology services and outpatient hysteroscopy clinics. She is actively involved in regional development of gynaecology services in South East London Network.

Miss Mehra is a skilled Gynaecologist surgeon with expertise in diagnosing and management of benign gynaecology conditions like fibroids, endometrial polyps, contraception advice, fertility investigations, menopause, menstrual disorders including abnormal uterine bleeding and intermenstrual bleeding, endometriosis, ovarian cysts and diagnosis of endometrial Cancers.

Miss Mehra is actively involved in Clinical Governance for gynaecology and currently working as Clinical Director for Women's Health at University Hospital Lewisham. She is actively involved in teaching and training for Junior doctors in training and keeps her knowledge up to date with evidence-based medicine for Women's Health. She is highly commended by her colleagues and well-liked by her patients.
