About me

I am a clinical psychologist who specialises in psychotherapy, anxiety, trauma, and the interplay between physical and mental health.

I have worked extensively within the NHS, in both physical and mental health. Within mental health I have worked in secondary mental health teams and developed trauma focused pathways for individuals with developmental trauma, personality disorders, depression, anxiety and eating disorders. I have worked in several physical health settings, including cancer, blood conditions, vascular, amputation, diabetes, women's health issues, and medically unexplained symptoms. My NHS experience has predominantly involved working with teenagers and adults. In private practice I work with adults with a range of mental and physical health issues.

I am very passionate about my clinical work and use a wide variety of approaches to help individuals to meet their treatment goals. I am particularly interested in the mind-body connection and working with individuals to understand and resolve the underlying causes of their symptoms. I favour emotion-focused and trauma-focused ways of working.
