About me

Dr Contractor has a specialist interest in coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndromes and is particularly involved in complex coronary intervention and chronic total occlusion angioplasty. However, the scope of his work also encompasses the full range of cardiac problems including complex valve disease, cardiac rhythm management, hypertension, dyslipidaemia, heart failure, palpitations, blackouts and cardiomyopathies.

Complex angioplasty - Dr Contractor performs the highest volume of PCIs (keyhole procedure used to treat blockages in heart arteries) in the region and has an excellent procedural outcomes and safety record. He is highly experienced in low/minimal contrast angiography for patients with advanced kidney disease and has broad experience in structural heart disease and interventions for valve disease offering renal denervation for patients with difficult to control high blood pressure.
