About me
Dr. Mohan graduated in India from the prestigious St. John's Medical College, Bangalore. Subsequently, she did her postgraduation in UK and did her paediatric registrar rotation in the London hospitals. She developed a special interest in endocrinology from UCH and Great Ormond Street hospital. Since then she became a paediatric consultant at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
She set up an obesity clinic and worked at the eating disorders team at Oxford health as a paediatrician. This led to her interest in autism as a number of these children were undiagnosed and suffering from sensory difficulties.
This led to Dr. Mohan working as a community paediatrician at Warwick hospital and developing an expertise in neurodevelopmental conditions. She is now trained in the diagnosis of autism spectrum conditions using ADI-R and ADOS and she also provides post diagnostic support.
She continues to work as a general paediatrician and brings the depth of her knowledge of neurodiversity to her medical practice, both in the NHS and private sectors.
