About me
Dr Evgenia Kostaki is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist and Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. She has a special interest in supporting women in leadership roles facing work-related stress, burnout, and major life transitions�helping them find space, clarity, and strength through integrative, evidence-based therapy.
She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Essex University, with a thesis exploring stress and self-compassion in mental health professionals. Her earlier training includes a Master's in Developmental Psychopathology from Durham University and a Psychology degree from Panteion University in Athens.
Evgenia has supported clients across the lifespan and has worked in the NHS and the private sector. She currently holds two NHS roles: as a Senior Clinical Psychologist in staff wellbeing and as a Clinical Lecturer on a CAP master's programme.
Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy. She is a Certified Facilitator of Compassionate Mind Training Course. She is also on the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS).
In addition to her clinical work, Evgenia is passionate about developing partnerships with organisations to support compassionate, people-first leadership. Drawing on her clinical expertise, she offers strategic training aimed at helping managers lead with clarity, build psychologically safe teams, recognise early signs of burnout, and cultivate sustainable wellbeing�particularly in modern, hybrid / remote workplaces.
