About me

I am a chartered counselling psychologist registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and an accredited member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am also a Dynamic Interpersonal therapist (DIT) kite marked with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and a fully qualified EMDR therapist and a member of the EMDR association UK.

I have many years of experience working in mental health services both in the NHS, and in the charitable sector in services such as MIND. I offer weekly sessions and work long and short term with clients, both online and face to face.

Whether you require short term sessions or longer-term work, I believe it is important to build a strong, collaborative relationship so that we can explore whatever issues arise together. I offer an empathic, genuine and non-judgemental relationship and foster a space which clients value as they feel safe and accepted.

As a counselling psychologist I have been trained to work in a variety of different ways with clients and to be flexible in my approach in accordance with what a client needs. The models I have trained in include psychodynamic, CBT, humanistic, existential, person-centred, dynamic interpersonal therapy, EMDR, and compassion focused therapy.

I believe we are all unique and what is beneficial for us at various points in our life is likely to change as we encounter different challenges, therefore a flexible therapeutic approach is core to working effectively, facilitating change, and fostering personal growth.

I offer face to face sessions in Richmond (South West London) and Wimpole Street (Central London), I also offer online sessions via Zoom.
