About me

I am an accredited counsellor, with over 16 years of integrative counselling experience. I have worked in a variety of settings; my practice started in a Mental Health Team. I have managed and work in a leading children's mental health charity; Place2Be, a secure residential unit with teenagers, GP practice, a women's' prison both with individuals with addictions and general emotional needs and their families and in a hospice working with children and their families pre and post bereavement.
I have extensive experience in working with adults, children and young people who present with variations in neurodevelopmental, cognitive and sensory functioning such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, sensory processing and the wide range of traits present within these variations.
I always take a system approach to my work to ensure I have a clear understanding of the client's world to inform best practice for the client/s.
